Pack River Potions opened its doors last July, and owners Mark and Tracy Perigen have been building business monthly. Prior to opening their store, Tracy had worked for Bath & Body Works. She began to research ingredients to create beneficial products within an affordable price range. And then she began to create. Tracy mixes and measures, and concocts delightful lotions to ease and pamper the body and soul.

Pack River Potions offers a lotion bar in the center of the store. Customers are encouraged to sample various products, and Mark is there to help explain the nuances of each item. Patrons may select 2 or 4 ounce bottles of the lotions of their choice. The Perigens offer a full range of products in bath and skin care, and they have stocked baskets so that shoppers may create personalized gifts to fit special occasions.

In addition to the essential rubber ducky, they have a wide assortment of candles, clocks and other fun things one cannot do without.

“Being downtown in Sandpoint each day is great,” Tracy says. “I’ve had the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful new people.”

Pack River Potions is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
